Work around the house...

Well, Nancy wanted me to mention that we've been doing some big things 'round here lately... mainly in the region of our basement.

Nancy contracted with a construction company to re-cement the basement of her 120 year old house. But that's not all: in doing so, they've lowered the floor eight inches (I no longer bang my head on the rafters) which gets us another 500 cubic feet of space. They've put in a french drain & sump-pump, sealed and re-cemented the walls, moved sinks & water-heaters, re-run plumbing lines, put in thinner furnace ducts, performed mold-abatement and have rebuilt the basement stairs.

All this in the space of less than 3 weeks.

The surprising thing to me was, I had no clue that this was about to occur until 2 days before it started...

The new blog feature at kenkramar.com

Well, I thought that I would try a true blogging system for this site, since the phpBB discussion board wasn't quite cutting it for that purpose.

Hence, the
blogger powered page.

This will let me write in a sort of continuous "column" and let people respond with comments, without having to click through lots of messages.

For now, I will still keep the message board, although maybe it will get re-purposed at some point.

Anyway, Welcome to
kramarama !

Blogging can be creepy...

What is this blogging thing?

Is it the opportunity to write your own articles?
Is it your chance to share your diary on the web?
Is it your soapbox for every arcane and extreme issue?
Is it your disseminator of misinformation?
Is it police evidence?
Is it your confessional, alibi and suicide note?
Is it a chronicle of your descent into madness?
